Founded this academic year, the H-FARM Student Council has quickly grown into a vibrant, student-led initiative with 14 hardworking and diverse members. Led by co-presidents Alexandra Bengtsson and Hanae Rastoul, the council was created with one clear mission: to give students a meaningful voice and transform their ideas into action, while adding moments of fun and connection throughout the school year.
So far, the council has collaborated with the PTA on the much-loved Winter Fair, bringing new energy and student-led ideas to a longstanding tradition. In February, we spread some sweetness through our Valentine’s Candygram campaign — not only brightening the day for many, but also raising €280 in the process. We also contributed to the annual H-Cup, selling snacks and supporting the event in collaboration with staff and athletes.
Currently, the Student Council is helping to organize this year’s anticipated Great Gatsby–themed prom, scheduled for the 16th of May, working with school leadership to ensure a glamorous and memorable experience. Earlier this year, we also hosted a Q&A session with representatives from NYU Abu Dhabi, bringing global university voices directly to our Campus.
Above all, the Student Council is about building a space where ideas are heard, fun is celebrated, and student spirit thrives, even in the midst of IB deadlines and academic pressure.
