PYP Updates and Requests 886 592 School Office PYP

The PYP year groups have already begun holding their class meetings. Please join these meetings, either in person or online, to meet the new teachers, learn about the programme and discover how parents can be partners in their child’s learning journey. These meetings are also an opportunity to hear about updates to timetables, including our focus on language and mathematics, the teacher clubs planned for Years 1–5 students during their lunch breaks, our brain breaks near the end of the day, and any updates from the IBPYP regarding subject-specific continuums. The class meetings schedule is available here.

You are welcome to ask questions relevant to the whole year group during the meeting. For individual concerns, please speak to the teachers afterwards or request a separate meeting. Although these sessions are not recorded, the presentation slides will be shared on Toddle after each meeting.

Each year, we invite a parent representative from every class in the PYP. This volunteer will meet with Primary Leadership at least once a term, serving as the voice of the parents in their class by raising concerns and contributing ideas and solutions. We will ask for volunteers during the class meetings, but you are also welcome to nominate yourself in advance.

Finally, to help keep our campus and students safe, please make sure to close the PYP gate behind you when entering or exiting the PYP building. Students arriving after 8:30 AM may need to ask for the gate to be opened and should check-in at the PYP reception to ensure they are marked present and accounted for on our registers.
