We are pleased to introduce a new weekly series of short articles designed to help you get to know the PYP Parent Handbook we shared at the beginning of the school year on the SON. The handbook is your go-to guide for understanding how daily life in the PYP works, from routines and procedures to helpful reminders and useful tips. It’s not a one-time read, but you can use it to easily find answers to any questions you might have and to stay connected with all aspects of school life.
The Parent Handbook is always available in the Parents Area of your H-ello app. You can use the search bar to find a specific topic, or browse the index on the left side of the page.
We would like to begin with the topic of “Birthdays”. On these special occasions, as these two topics are often linked, we also would like to remind families of the importance of carefully following the “Going Home with Others” procedure to ensure that all dismissal arrangements are safe, clear and properly communicated.
