As our DP1 students gear up for the upcoming end-of-year exams scheduled from May 25th to June 8th, they are also diving into their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Core elements, including the TOK exhibition, CAS, and Extended Essay. These components play a pivotal role in shaping their final grades in DP2, highlighting the need for students to approach them with consistent focus and attention to detail.
To support our students in achieving success, we have spaced out these critical deadlines over the course of the two-year programme. This approach is designed to help keep the workload balanced and give students enough time to prepare properly for their exams.
In this document you will find the internal deadlines for the IAs and the Core components. Please take a moment to review it and ensure that your child fully understands the significance of adhering to these deadlines.
It is important to stress that if the draft is not submitted by the deadline, teachers will not be able to provide feedback. As a result, students’ progress may be affected, they may miss the opportunity to improve their work effectively, and this may also impact their predicted grades.
