Details:
- When: Wednesday, April 29th
- Where: Venice
- What: building and structure hunt in Venice and lunch at Frary’s
- Unit of Inquiry How the world works: to explore aspects of the Year 2 current and past units of inquiry, the students will participate in activities linked to identifying structures, materials and shapes in the city of Venice. They will then have a meal at Frary’s restaurant, which specializes in Arabic and Greek cuisine. This food experience links to the unit of injury about “Global perspectives” and will give the children the opportunity to taste flavours from far away countries.
Logistics:
- Program: We will leave school at 8:30 and return by the end of the school day.
- What to wear: school uniform, comfortable walking shoes and a jacket
- What to bring: a small backpack (no trolley) and a full water bottle
- Snack: the school will provide it
- Lunch: we will have lunch at Frary’s restaurant
What to do if:
- My child can’t participate: if it’s either a scheduled absence or your child is sick, please inform us as soon as possible.
- Please note: the educational visit is effectively part of the didactic programme of the school. For this reason, we expect all students to participate.
Payment and confirmation:
- Daily trips are included in the “2025-26 daily trips” payment so no extra payment is needed for this trip.
