Thank you to the parents who attended the workshop last week, engaging in meaningful and open discussions that created a valuable space for sharing experiences and perspectives. Our session focused on understanding and addressing bullying in a supportive and informed way. During the session, we explored what bullying is (and what it is not), how to recognise early warning signs in children who may be affected, and how to respond effectively. Particular attention was given to the role of families in supporting children emotionally, fostering resilience, and having open conversations about difficult topics. Parents also had the opportunity to ask questions, clarify doubts, and reflect on how to work in partnership with the school to promote a safe and respectful environment for all students.
The presentation slides can be viewed here.
We can’t wait to see you again for the next workshop scheduled on Thursday, April 23rd on “How to support your child at home”.
We remind you that the full list of PYP Parent Education sessions is available here and on the school google calendar.
Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. This practical workshop will give parents tools to support their children at home, from strategies for reading and problem-solving to everyday applications like building financial literacy and independence.
