Dear MYP Families,
As part of our ongoing efforts to support students in developing effective organisation, time-management and self-management skills, we are introducing monthly MYP Assessment Calendars, which will be shared with students and families each month.
Please find at the following link the October Assessment Calendars for MYP1–MYP5, providing an overview of the assessments planned for the month ahead. The calendars include the subject, teacher and assessment criteria. Further details — including the type of assessment, relevant content, preparation guidance and supporting resources — will be available to students on ManageBac no later than one week before the scheduled assessment date.
By sharing these calendars monthly, we aim to help students and families plan ahead, balance workload across subjects and prepare effectively. As this is a new approach across the MYP, we will continue to review and refine the process, and we appreciate your understanding that some adjustments may be needed along the way.
We hope the calendars will serve as a shared planning tool at home and at school, while encouraging students to take increasing responsibility for managing their own learning.
