PINKTOBER – Breast Cancer Awareness Week
This week, fun activities have taken place and will continue for all year groups. These activities are made to raise awareness about breast cancer, as well as to help raise funds in order to make a difference in the real world.
15/10 – “On Wednesday We Wear Pink”
Dress in pink clothes to show your support for breast cancer awareness.
16/10 – PYP Face Painting
This is a fun activity to spread awareness about an important topic throughout the entire school community.
21/10 – MYP Trivia Pursuit
You will be doing a fun quiz about the topic in your homerooms.
21/10 – Cakes for Cancer Research
There will be a bake sale in MYP during break time.
21/10 – Awareness Run
MYP students are encouraged to wear pink shirts to run a sprint. DP students are also allowed to participate
Donations 1-5 Euros/person are welcome on all of the days regardless of the activity. All proceeds will go to the LILT Treviso Association.
There will be stands in MYP & DP Receptions every morning from 8:30 to 8:45 to collect donations.
PYP Halloween Fundraising Trail
Celebrating our DP1 students who are organising the PYP Halloween Fundraising Trail next Friday, October 24 2025, 14:15 – 15:05, a fun event aimed at our primary years students featuring fun activities such as spider web walking, ghost bowling, candy corn relay, ghost hunt, mystery box and many more! Fundraising efforts go for the 3rd year in a row towards Lilt Giocare in Corsia, a volunteer network supporting pediatric children’s ward in Ca’ Foncello Hospital Treviso.
Kudos to our DP1 student leaders, for putting together this community building event! We thank in advance our PYP community for their donations for the day!
