CAS Project: Peace Day Video & Peace Day Exhibition 2560 1440 School Office

In a world where conflict is a daily reality the concept of peace can often feel abstract and distant. Our project aims to humanize this idea by exploring what it personally means to members of our international school community.

We have created a short documentary video and a supporting photo exhibition featuring students from the PYP, MYP, and DP, representing a wide range of nationalities, cultures, and languages. Each participant will be asked to describe peace with a single word in their native language, connecting it to a physical object and a personal story. Our primary goal is to demonstrate that despite our diverse backgrounds, the desire for peace is a universal human value that unites us all. We will do this by sharing our own ideas of peace, giving students a chance to express themselves, honoring the International Day of Peace on September 21st, and building our skills in media production.

Kudos to our DP1 students who worked on this extensive project!
