This is a great opportunity for students to discover the Chinese language and culture in a fun and engaging way before enrolling in the course.
Let’s Speak Chinese will be happening twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays

This afterschool course, designed for Y3-5 students, combines language learning with traditional cultural experiences through an integrated teaching model.
Learning Modules
- Theoretical Module (Language)
Pinyin Fundamentals: consonants, vowels, tones, and practice exercises
Introduction to Characters: basic strokes, common radicals, writing simple characters
Practical Conversation: greetings, introductions, and polite expressions for everyday situations
Playful Learning: character memorization using visual aids - Cultural Workshop (Practice)
UNESCO Heritage Arts: paper cutting (jianzhi), Chinese knots, shadow puppetry
Festival Workshops: Mid-Autumn lanterns, red envelopes for Chinese New Year, scented sachets for the Dragon Boat Festival
Traditional Arts: ink painting, basic calligraphy, Chinese opera masks
Cultural Storytelling: chengyu (proverbs), interactive mythology
