Details:
- When: Friday, April 24th
- Where: Jesolo (VE)
- What: Tropicarium Park visit
- Unit of Inquiry How the World Works: the guided tour of the park will help to raise awareness of how we should respect nature and animals. The guide will also address important issues such as environmental conservation and knowledge of invasive species. The trip will link with our How the World Works Unit of Inquiry and the children’s great love of animals. The visit lasts approximately two and a half hours, including snack time and lunch in the park.
Logistics:
- Program: we will leave school at 8:30 (together with Y1 students) and return to school after lunch
- What to wear: comfortable walking shoes and clothes
- What to bring: a small backpack (no trolley) and a full water bottle
- Snack & lunch: the school will provide both of them. We will have our packed lunch at the Park (students should not bring any food with them)
What to do if:
- My child can’t participate: if it’s either a scheduled absence or your child is sick, please inform us as soon as possible.
- Please note: the educational visit is effectively part of the didactic programme of the school. For this reason, we expect all students to participate.
Payment and confirmation:
- Daily trips are included in the “2025-26 daily trips” payment so no extra payment is needed for this trip.
