During Day Zero, I got to speak to most of the new and returning students about how we stay safe on the new playground, and how we can continue to look after ourselves, each other and the environment. A Y1-Y5 schedule has been created for the first two weeks of breaks and lunchtimes, to stagger the excitement of having new equipment, but we hope that soon we will be able to open it up for all students every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also wanted to ensure that parents are aware about how we us the PYP during after hours. We have many afterschool activities that start next week, including supervision of students who are waiting for their siblings and the bus home. With this in mind, the PYP Playground is not open to students with their parents until after 4:15<\/strong>, please continue to use the other a playground next to the tennis courts. The PYP Gate must remain closed to keep our students safe. Please also note that, outside of school hours, children are the responsibility of the parents\/guardians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
