As part of our continued passion for developing the Arts, we will be offering the opportunity for our MYP1 and 2 students to take part in LAMDA exams in June.
Ms Maria Hamblin (from PYP) and Ms Sunny Watts will be offering a club that prepares students for official official LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) exams in a range of performance styles, including acting, devising, musical theatre, public speaking, verse, and prose. Some exams can be taken solo, in pairs, or as a group.
Important: All students who choose to join the club must take at least one LAMDA exam, which involves a cost for the examiner and certificate (last year they cost approximately 60 euros). Students will also need to practise their parts at home to prepare fully for the examinations.
Through focused sessions, students will develop communication skills, explore different characters, and learn techniques to perform confidently on stage or in front of an audience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Support and guidance will be provided throughout the exam preparation process. Our PYP students have already proven to be outstanding artists, now it’s the MYP’s turn to shine!
