We would like to remind you that the last school day, Friday 19th June, lessons will finish at 12:30 and there will be no lunch service. During the morning, our school community will gather in the Sports Hall for the first edition of the H-Awards Ceremony.
This new initiative has been created to celebrate success in its many forms and to recognise the many ways in which students grow during the school year. While academic achievement remains important, we also want to make visible the qualities, attitudes and contributions that shape a meaningful education: resilience, curiosity, kindness, collaboration, language development, community spirit and readiness for the future.
The H-Awards are therefore closely connected to our six Dimensions of Success and to the broader vision of the school. They remind us that education is not only about what students know, but also about who they are becoming, how they relate to others, and how they contribute to the life of the community.
This year marks the beginning of what we hope will become a new school tradition: a moment at the end of each year when students, teachers, boarding parents and staff come together to honour growth, effort, excellence and service.
We look forward to sharing this special moment with our students and to closing the year in a spirit of gratitude, recognition and celebration.
A short recap about the end of day logistic:
- Students taking the school bus: all school buses will be leaving the campus at 12:45. Use this link to check the arrival time at each stop (the inbound schedule will not change). Please use the school bus app to notify your child’s absence, if you’re coming to collect them.
- Students taking public transportation: we remind those parents whose children are using public transportation to check the specific route schedule.
- For parents collecting their children in Campus: we remind you to be at school at 12:30.
- EYU: Due to the high number of people we expect during dismissal on this day, all Early Years students will be brought to the Welcome Center for dismissal at 12:20.
- No after school supervision will be provided and no sports/clubs will take place.
