MYP3 Learning Experience – Ca’ Pesaro and Guggenheim Museum 1672 941 School Office

Dear MYP3 Parents,

We are delighted to announce an inspiring learning journey for our M3 students on November 19th: a day in Venice, the beating heart of art, culture, and imagination, exploring two of the city’s most extraordinary cultural landmarks.

Our day will begin at Ca’ Pesaro, the splendid Baroque palace on the Grand Canal that houses the International Gallery of Modern Art. Here, students will take part in a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) activity entirely in English. Through interactive conversations, they will explore the artworks, the spaces, and the impressions and emotions these generate, while looking for the right words to express them.

The journey will continue at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, an iconic museum overlooking the Grand Canal, where students will discover the works of Picasso, Dalí, Miró, Kandinsky, Magritte, and Pollock, and experience how the 20th century revolutionized creativity. Through color, form, and abstraction, they will see how art can question, provoke, and inspire.
