MYP4 Day Trip to M9 Museum – November 19 470 300 School Office

Dear Parents,

On their upcoming visit to the M9 Museum in Mestre, our students will embark on a journey that brings together culture, creativity, and innovation — an experience designed to make learning both meaningful and memorable.

The day will include three main workshops, and all students will have the opportunity, in rotation, to participate in each activity, ensuring a rich and comprehensive experience.

The first workshop, In Someone Else’s Shoes, is an immersive exploration of Italy’s past and present, where students will engage with history and philosophy through the lens of empathy. Guided by real stories and voices, they’ll reflect on how human experience shapes identity — and will transform their insights into a mini documentary that tells stories of connection across time.
This activity not only deepens historical understanding but also empowers students to see the world from multiple perspectives and tell meaningful stories.

Next, in Design Your Made in Italy, imagination meets entrepreneurship. Students will reinterpret the essence of Italian excellence, blending design thinking with creativity to reimagine what “Made in Italy” means for the next generation.
This workshop encourages practical problem-solving, innovation, and the confidence to transform creative ideas into real-world solutions.

Finally, through Lego Education Mindstorms EV3, they’ll step into the world of coding and robotics, collaborating on a civic-minded innovation challenge that puts technology in service of community and purpose.
By building, coding, and collaborating, students develop hands-on technical skills while learning the value of teamwork and civic responsibility.

It will be a day that celebrates the power of ideas and action — where culture meets technology, and creativity becomes a way to understand, design, and shape the future.
