Dear MYP4 Parents,
Our students are about to take part in an engaging and inspiring educational experience in collaboration with one of the most iconic industrial excellences of our region: Tecnica Group, alongside a visit to the Museo dello Scarpone, managed by Fondazione Sportsystem.
Rooted in a strong connection with the territory and driven by innovation, Tecnica Group represents a global benchmark in the sportswear and technical footwear industry. Home to internationally renowned brands such as Nordica, Moon Boot, and Rollerblade, the company tells a story of entrepreneurial vision, research, design, and continuous evolution. Through this experience, students will explore how creativity, technological innovation, and strategic business thinking combine to create products that influence international markets and consumer trends.
The day will begin at the Museo dello Scarpone, where students will discover the historical and cultural evolution of technical footwear, gaining insight into how craftsmanship, design, and performance have shaped one of the most dynamic sectors of Italian manufacturing. Through guided visits and interactive moments, students will be encouraged to reflect on how design processes respond to both functional and aesthetic needs.
The experience will then continue at Tecnica Group, where students will step into a real corporate environment and observe firsthand how a leading international company operates in terms of production, communication, and business management. This visit offers students a meaningful opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world industrial practices, strengthening their understanding of innovation, sustainability, and product development within a professional context.
