Our programme of support for MYP5 students as they prepare for their transition to the Diploma Programme will continue with a third event designed to provide deeper insight into the subjects offered and to guide students in making informed and thoughtful choices.
So far, students have attended an introductory assembly on the Diploma Programme, completed an orientation questionnaire, and had the opportunity to meet individually with a Valdo Academics consultant to explore their interests, strengths, and subject options in greater depth.
The next step will be an online Subject Fair, during which teachers from each department will briefly present their subjects, including course content, assessment structure, and key expectations. This event is intended to help students and families gain a clearer and more complete understanding of each option.
The Subject Fair will take place on Friday 27th at 12:45 and can be accessed via the following link: https://meet.google.com/bts-crmz-mfy
The session will be recorded, and the recording and materials will be shared through the school office notice. However, we strongly encourage live participation of both students and parents, as it will provide the most valuable opportunity to engage with the information presented.
Following the event, students will receive the subject selection form where they will complete their preliminary subject choice.
Kindly note that only students who are enrolled for the next academic year will be able to complete and submit the form.
