Dear Parents,
We are excited to inform you that on Wednesday, May 21th, our MYP5 students will take part in a field trip to the Cansiglio Forest, as part of their Integrated Sciences curriculum.
During the day, students will rotate through two engaging activities:
- A guided nature walk through the forest to explore its natural wonders, discover the local wildlife, and learn about the history and unique characteristics of the area.
- An orienteering challenge, where students will work in small groups using a map and compass to navigate through the forest and locate checkpoints (known as “lanterns”).
Both activities are designed to foster curiosity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.
The school will provide lunch and a snack, so students do not need to bring food.
Departure from the school Campus is scheduled for 7:30, and we expect to return by approximately 16:30.
To ensure students are well prepared, please make sure they bring:
- A refillable water bottle
- Insect and tick repellent spray
- A windbreaker or light jacket
- Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for light hiking
Daily trips are included in the “2024-25 daily trips” payment so no extra payment is needed for this trip.
