Dear PYP Families,
We are delighted to invite you to join us on Thursday, December 11th at 2:00 pm at The Hill for our PYP Winter Show!
Below you’ll find all the details to make this special afternoon smooth and magical for everyone.
Access to Campus and Auditorium
- Families are welcome to enter the Hill from 1:50pm (grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings etc are all welcome)
- Parents must wear their Parent badge in accordance with our Campus access policy: if you haven’t collected yours yet, please do it at the Welcome Center beforehand
- Family members (without badge) arriving with parents must register at the Welcome Center and request a VISITOR badge
Collecting students after the performance
- After their performance (approximately 3:00 pm), students will be handed over to parents in the Hill, instead of the Welcome Center.
- If you wish to collect your child after the show instead of having them attend their usual after-school activity, please send us an email to inform us in advance.
- All afterschool activities (Clubs, Sports and supervision) will run regularly after the show. Students who remain at school will be escorted back by their homeroom teachers to join their regular activities.
- Please remember to use the Bus App if your child will be collected by you and therefore not taking the school bus.
Costumes and Garments needed for the show
Please send the following items to school no later than Thursday November 27th, in a bag clearly labelled with your child’s name.
A few recommendations first:
- to ensure all garments can be returned, label every item with your child’s name;
- blue/beige trousers: if your child will wear the school uniform, they may come to school already dressed in it on the day of the show. All other garments should be delivered in advance for the dress rehearsal;
- Christmas/winter jumpers: please refer to the examples at the bottom of this message for inspiration;
- gloves/mittens: any color/shape is fine, but please make sure they are labeled to avoid mix-ups, and that your child can easily put them on themselves;
- coloured t-shirts: small prints or minimal designs are fine, though plain ones are preferred.
