Thank you to those parents who participated in the “Fostering Resilience and Self-Esteem in Children” workshop, held this week by the School Counselor Sofia Prezzamà. The talk focused on the importance of nurturing both resilience and self-esteem in children, highlighting how emotional needs, coping skills and supportive adult guidance play a key role in healthy development. Practical tools and strategies were shared to help parents support children in managing everyday challenges in a balanced and respectful way. The presentation is available at this link.

Our next workshop “Inclusion and SEN (Special Educational Needs)” will be on January 29th at 8:45 and is for all PYP parents.
This workshop will explore how teachers adapt curricula, differentiate instruction, and use assistive technology to meet the diverse needs of learners. We will also discuss how we foster social inclusion by creating a classroom culture where all students, regardless of ability, feel connected, accepted, and experience a sense of achievement. We will explore academic, social, and emotional barriers to learning, and share practical ways to support your child at home.

We remind you that the full list of PYP Parent Education sessions is available here and on the school google calendar.
