Please take some time to look at the Earth Day Schedule to get a sense of the many wonderful activities taking place on Monday and to see how (and when!) you can participate.

Our teachers have put in a significant amount of thought and care into preparing students to reflect and act in sustainable (and international!) ways. Please join me in thanking them.

ALL parents are invited to:

• Come to campus and enjoy the afternoon festival from 2-3.45pm!
• PYP students will participate in the afternoon events with their parents only. PYP parents who plan to participate are asked to come to the PYP building at 14:00 to collect your child. If your child will attend the festival with another parent, you must let the office know ahead of time to expedite the collection process.
• Download the AWorld app to help your family meet your sustainability goals.
• In case of inclement weather, the afternoon events will be postponed.

What to bring:

• old jeans to recycle them for Rifò
• reusable water bottles to decorate
• gently used school books to be reused next year
• plain t-shirt to decorate
• Used plastic bottle to plant seeds
• A little bit of money to support our local and student vendors (The proceeds from student made objects will be donated to Earthday.org)

Where:

• Red soccer pitch, vendors
• Green soccer field, activities
• The Domes (between the boarding buildings), art gallery, art sale, communal art project and film festivals
• Outside the Welcome Centre for PYP poetry slam
