Ms. Fiammetta Gioia’s Farewell
A Message from the School Counselor
Dear Students, Parents, and Colleagues,
As this new school year begins, I would like to take a moment to say thank you. After three wonderful years as your School Counselor, it is time for me to step into a new role. These years have been filled with meaningful conversations, shared challenges, and many moments of growth together.
A special thanks goes to all those who have supported me along the way and who have contributed to making the Wellbeing Department a fundamental part of our school. Your trust and collaboration have made this journey truly special, both personally and professionally.
At the same time, I am very pleased to welcome Ms. Sofia Prezzamà, who will be taking over as School Counselor and officially joining the Wellbeing Department. She will be working closely with Alessandro Pozzobon (Boarding counselor) and Beppe Pedron (External Consultant – Behavioral Coach) to continue strengthening our school’s wellbeing initiatives.
Although I am passing the torch, I will still be partly available until the end of September to support the transition and ensure continuity for students, families, and staff.
I am confident that the Wellbeing Department will continue to grow and flourish, and I wish the whole team the very best for the years ahead.
With gratitude and warm regards,
Fiammetta Gioia
School Counselor
Ms. Sofia Prezzamà’s Welcome
Hello everyone!
My name is Sofia, I am a clinical psychologist and I am very happy to join the Wellbeing Department as the new School Counselor.
Last year I worked in H-FARM in the Special Educational Needs department. Starting this September, I will be working across PYP, MYP, and DP, supporting students throughout their learning journey and helping them navigate through social-emotional challenges that might arise.
Beyond my professional background, here are a couple of aspects of my journey I would love to share with you.
Firstly, my international experience: having lived and worked abroad in multicultural environments, I deeply value being part of diverse communities, and I see this as one of the greatest strengths of our school.
Secondly, I am passionate about art therapy. I have pursued further training in this field, and I hope to bring it into our community, offering students opportunities to explore their emotions and identity, while fostering personal growth in a safe and supportive space.
I am truly looking forward to starting to contribute to a culture of wellbeing here at H-FARM. Thank you very much for welcoming me, and I wish you all a wonderful start to the school year!
Sofia Prezzamà
School Counselor
