Hosted by the H-FARM Boarding Team, in collaboration with the University Guidance Department, this special event aimed to provide a unique opportunity for our DP1 and MYP5s to look into personal stories about dreams, hard work, and perseverance from diverse challenges of high school students from across the globe. The chosen documentary, presented by WGCU Public Media, is a powerful artwork depicting the lives of six ambitious high school students, devoted to earning a seat at the US’s top colleges of their choice. This poses a compelling question: “Will this hard work ever be enough?” This inspiring film sheds light on a demanding life stage, particularly when preparing for university admissions.
